Ashley was not a fan of chocolate, the horror, I know!  Although, I think Michael enjoyed it enough for the both of them.  Michael decided he wanted his 'grooms cake' to be chocolate cake pops and they both agreed  they wanted a full dessert and candy bar to act not only as the grooms chocolate fix, but also has favors for their guest. 

Her colors were black, red and white.  The dessert table includes: Double Chocolate Cake Pops, Petit Fours, Lemon Powdered Cookies, Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers, Chocolate Coated Pretzels, Licorice Wheels, Hot Tamales, Cinnamon Gummy Bears, Jelly Belly (Red Apple | Coconut), Swizzle Sticks, Champagne Bubbles, Popcorn (Blackberry | Strawberry) and Cherry Candy Canes.

I met Brittany Castaneda, a stylist at Clive and Co,  a few months back at the Bridalicious Boot Camp DVD launch.  You can read about that here.  I remembered her petite stature and vibrant red hair.  We talked for a bit, the normal who, what, where and when.  But, I had no idea she was about to be celebrating something so noteworthy in her career.  I was even more delighted when she asked me for my help!  She was planning an extravagent in-store event to celebrate her completion of training in basic precision techniques and she wanted to wow her family, friends and coworkers with a dessert and candy buffet, plus a little bubbly.  Who could blame her?!? 

Brittany was showcasing 12 hairstyles inspired by the Art Deco Movement.  She was so on top of things, she even sent me a mood board!  She mentioned she wanted pinks, whites and black and she wanted the desserts to have an Architectural and French feel.  Sakura Photo captured the event and so graciously sent over her beauitiful work.  Take a look at the fashion show first then mosey on down to the sweets bar.    

Beauitiful work!  Now let's enjoy the sweets.  On the menu were cake pops, french macarons, dessert shots, creme brulee cordials, chocolate covered cookie dough, champagne bubbles and sixlets.
